• Strong network configuration and administration background, to support the VM environment, F5 load balancing and configuration management.
• Strong Oracle database administration background, to be able to understand the development team needs and communicate to the Aviation DBA team through the IT ticket system.
• Strong Oracle SQL Plus scripting, and able to run DDL, DML and generate the db reports.
• Strong Java programming knowledge and be able to monitor the Java application remotely and basic debug the problem, if one occurred.
• Expertise in Bamboo administration and configurations. [lower priority]
• Expertise in configuration management tools such as SVN, with branching, tagging and code merging, and guide the team on the best strategy for parallel development and deployments
• Expertise with one or more of the following: Artifactory, or other artifact repository management tool
• Expertise with static analysis/software quality tools such as SONAR Qube
• Experience in virtualized environment set-up, maintenance and ongoing development
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Perl
• Experience with build tools such as Maven, Ant, Grade
• Experience in Build-time dependency management in Java, C++, C# (Maven, MSBuild)•
• Able to work in a team environment by demonstrating excellent written, verbal communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to translate engineering processes into tools workflows
